Visit Temple of Heaven, a praying and sacrificial place of the Ming and Qing Emperors.

Day 2 – Beijing
Breakfast at hotel.
Full day visit Great Wall (Badaling), that has been built from 770-475 B.C. – climbing on top on the 2484 miles long Great Wall is really an experience. Afterwards the Summer Palace, the summer-residence of the former emperors with one of the biggest and best preserved gardens in China and visit a pearl factory and enjoy a 45 minutes Foot Massage.

Day 3 – Beijing
Breakfast at hotel.
Visit Tiananmen Square where the Mao’s Mausoleum and the Congress Hall are located, then the Forbidden City with the emperor’s palace in the heart of Beijing (So called because it was off limits for 500 years, covering an area of 250 acres, protected by a 10.7m high wall, marked off by towers at each corner).
Lunch at local restaurant.
Visit the Hutongs, lanes or Alleys formed by lines of Siheyuan (a compound with houses around a courtyard) where old Beijing residents live, witness the vicissitude of the city by a trishaw.

Day 4 – Beijing / Lhasa

Day 7 – Lhasa / Gyantse

Coach to Gyantse (about 7 hours) via Kampa La Pass, pass by the Yamdok Yutsho, colour of water of the lake is blue, with lunch box at the lakeside and dinner.
Arrival Gyantse and transfer to hotel.

Day 8 – Gyantse / Shigatse

Visit the Palkhor Chode Monastery (Kumbum) and Dzong (Old Fort) in Gyantse.

Arrival Shigatse with lunch.
Rest of the day free for leisure.
