Day 2 – Beijing
Breakfast at hotel.
Full day visit Great Wall (Badaling), that has been built from 770-475 B.C. – climbing on top on the 2484 miles long Great Wall is really an experience. Afterwards the Summer Palace, the summer-residence of the former emperors with one of the biggest and best preserved gardens in China and visit a pearl factory and enjoy a 45 minutes Foot Massage.

Day 3 – Beijing / Xian
Breakfast at hotel.
Visit Tiananmen Square where the Mao’s Mausoleum and the Congress Hall are located, then the Forbidden City with the emperor’s palace in the heart of Beijing (So called because it was off limits for 500 years, covering an area of 250 acres, protected by a 10.7m high wall, marked off by towers at each corner).
Lunch at local restaurant.
Visit the Hutongs, lanes or Alleys formed by lines of Siheyuan (a compound with houses around a courtyard) where old Beijing residents live, witness the vicissitude of the city by a trishaw.

Day 4 – Arrival Xian
Arrival Xian transfer to hotel.

Visit Terracotta Warriors with more than 6000 life-sized terracotta figures of soldiers and horses in perfect battle array are showing the superb sculptural art of that time with lunch local restaurant.
Visit City Wall, Muslim Quarter and Wild Goose Pagoda.

Day 5 – Xian (Hushan)

Day visit to Huashan with cable car up and visit Shengmu temple and Laojun temple with lunch.

Day 6 – Xian / Guilin

Transfer to airport for flight to Guilin.

Visit one of the most extraordinary sceneries, which is underground – the Reed Flute Cave with its multicoloured lighting and fantastic stalacitites and stalagmites and then Elephant Trunk Hill.

Day 7 – Guilin / Yangshuo

Boat trip to Yangshuo on the Li River, we pass some extraordinary peaks, sprays of bamboo lining, the riverbanks, fishers in small boats and picturesque villages.

Cooking class with dinner.

Boat trip on the West Lake, to enjoy the placid lake, beautiful gardens, reflecting pools, lavish temples and friendly lakeside teahouse then Ling Yin Temple, built in 326. It ranks among China’s most celebrated Buddhist temples and is worth visiting, due to war and calamity it has been destroyed and restored no fewer than 16 times.
Visit Six Harmonies Pagoda that has not been destroyed during the cultural revolution as it is located dangerously close to an enormous rail-and road-bridge.

01. Blackout dates:
Golden week: 01-03 May and 01-07 Oct 2009 and Chinese New year: 26 Jan-01 Feb 2009.
02. Lau Shen Jie Show in Yanghsou: Creatively combines the classical Sanjie Liu’s Songs, ethnic groups’ Culture and the fishing lights together, to reflect the harmonious atmosphere between human beings and the nature. The performance lasts for 70 minutes and 600 plus actors and actress are involved. Please note that the show will be cancelled if it rains.
03. D07 lunch served on Li River cruise is not suitable for European tourist (taste, hygiene), so lunch will be provided in Yangshuo, after the Li river cruise.
04. In Longshen, Ping’An is a guesthouse and only provided simple breakfast.
And guest should not really take heavy luggage up there – an overnight kit is enough – it is only for 1 night. And they again need comfortable walking shoes. If pax needs to carry big luggage in Longshen, can hire a local people to carry, it costs USD3/baggage.
05. The best season to Longshen is Jul to Dec, Mar to Apr. May-Jun is raining season, Jan-Feb’s temperate can be down to 03-04 degree up at the mountain.
