Visit Temple of Heaven, a praying and sacrificial place of the Ming and Qing Emperors.

Day 2 – Beijing
Breakfast at hotel.
Full day visit Great Wall (Badaling), that has been built from 770-475 B.C. – climbing on top on the 2484 miles long Great Wall is really an experience. Afterwards the Summer Palace, the summer-residence of the former emperors with one of the biggest and best preserved gardens in China and visit a pearl factory and enjoy a 45 minutes Foot Massage.

Day 3 – Beijing
Breakfast at hotel.
Visit Tiananmen Square where the Mao’s Mausoleum and the Congress Hall are located, then the Forbidden City with the emperor’s palace in the heart of Beijing (So called because it was off limits for 500 years, covering an area of 250 acres, protected by a 10.7m high wall, marked off by towers at each corner).
Lunch at local restaurant.
Visit the Hutongs, lanes or Alleys formed by lines of Siheyuan (a compound with houses around a courtyard) where old Beijing residents live, witness the vicissitude of the city by a trishaw.

Day 4 – Beijing / Datong
Breakfast at hotel.
Day free for leisure.
Transfer from hotel to train station for overnight train to Datong.

Arrival Datong.
Fresh up and breakfast at hotel.
Visit Hanging Temple, built 1400 years ago, hosts worship for the Taoists, Confucians and Buddhists, the temple is hung on the middle of the cliff and is still in perfect conditions after so many years, on the way visit a cave house.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Visit Yongang-Grotte, with 53 caves and 51000 statues, the grottoes represent the outstanding achievement of Buddhist cave are in China in the 5th and 6th centuries. The Five Caves created
by Tan Yao, with their strict unity of layout and design, constitute a classical masterpiece of the
first peak of Chinese Buddhist art, and then visit Huayan Temple with the nine dragon wall.

Day 6 – Datong / Taiyuan / Pingyao
Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to train station for train to Taiyuan.
Arrival Taiyuang and transfer to visit Jinci Temple, is located 25km to the southeast of Taiyuan City, a combination of historical cultural relics and beautiful landscapes.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Visit Family Qiao’s Courtyard, with the area of 8724 square meter, the courtyard was the house of the richest family Qiao in Qing Dynasty in China, though 2 centuries has bee passed, it still keeps its original splendor in architectural style.
Transfer to Pingyao and transfer to hotel.

Day 7 – Pingyao / Xian
Breakfast at hotel.
Soft Hiking tour in Pingyao, is 90km southward from Taiyuan, the capital of the province, shanxi Pingyao Ancient Town is one of the four best-preserved ancient cities in China, then visit the museums and watching the life of local people.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Evening transfer to train station.
Overnight on train T2535 at 20h06/07h45 to Xian.

Day 8 – Xian
Arrival Xian and transfer to hotel for fresh up and breakfast.
Visit the Old City Wall, Big Wild Goose Pagoda with lunch.
Visit the Bell Tower, the grand mosque and the Muslim’s quarter.

Day 9 – Xian / Mt. Taishan

Transfer train station.
Overnight on train K1162 (17h30/09h16) to Taishan.

Day 10 – Mt. Taishan
Arrival Taishan, transfer to the station and take the cable car up to Mt. Taishan.
Temples visit up at the mountain with lunch.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 11 – Mt. Taishan to Qufu / Shanghai
Breakfast at hotel.
Cable car down the mountain and take another 02 hrs drive (100 Km) to QUFU – the home town of Confucius. Visit the temple and the Palace of the Tomb of Confucius with lunch.
Evening transfer to train station.
Overnight on train T105 at 21h53/06h03 to Shanghai.

Day 12 – Shanghai
Morning arrival Shanghai and transfer to hotel for fresh up and breakfast.
visit Jade Buddha Temple with a 2M high sitting white Jade Buddha and the 400 years old Yu Garden, decorated with masterpieces of architecture, then visit the famous Bund and Nanjing Road with lunch at local restaurant.
