Coach through Kowloon to one of Hong Kong’s most impressive monastery – the
Chuk Lam Shim Yuen (literally bamboo forest monastery). It houses "Three of the Largest Religious Buddha" status in Hong Kong.
Then move out into the countryside past banana plantations, and up to
Tai Mo Shan Hong Kong’s tallest mountain. Continue through the rural countryside passing
Shek Kong and
Lam Chuen Valley.
Stop at the traditional
rural market at Tai Po. Browse among colourful stalls piled high with dried fish, herbs and vegetables. Next to the market there is another traditional
Man Mo Temple.
After Tai Po passing the
new industrial town and Chinese University and visit to
The Walled Village, Tsang Tai Uk (or Kat Hing Wai as replacement depends on availability).
The tour concludes with a Chinese Lunch in the local restaurant, and will be arranged in the city.
