Remarks :
1. As this tour requires some walking, guests are advised to wear comfortable walking shoes while on the tour.

2. Chinese Tea will be served during lunch. Other drinks (soft drinks and alcohol) are not included.

3. Return transfer to residing hotels is not included. This tour will show you the scenes behind the normal tourist routes in Kowloon. From local tea culture, knowledge for pearl & jade lovers; to traditions for Chinese wedding and even Dim Sum cooking recipes.

Dai Pai Dong:
These open-air restaurants demonstrate the unique dinning culture and history in Hong Kong. A complimentary cup of "Milk Tea" that gives you extraordinary strength and smoothness flavor or soft drink will be serving.

Pearls have long been a symbol of purity in China and are often referred to as one of the "eight jewels". Our hosts will provide invaluable advice for visitors wishing to buy pearls.












Jade Market:
The Jade Market at Kansu and Battery streets in Yau Ma Tei is a magnet for jade collectors from around the world. You can find everything from rare and valuable jade carvings to small, inexpensive trinkets. Jade is highly prized in China as many believe it wards off evil spirits and protects travellers.

Local Fresh Food Market:
Want to find out the lifestyle of local housewives, look no further. Let's explore the local market where you will find items from fresh food, Chinese herbs to all daily household items.












Tin Hau Temple:
Located in the heart of Yau Ma Tei with over 150 years of history. In the past, locals believed that Tin Hau would protect ships from storms. Nowadays, the locals seldom put to the sea but many still worship at the temple for blessings.












Shanghai Street:
One of the oldest streets in Hong Kong. Many of the buildings were built for decades. You may find some old shops that sell traditional Chinese kitchen utensils, ceremonial items and traditional Chinese wedding gowns.












Dim Sum lunch and cooking class:

A delicious Dim Sum Lunch will be served at an award winning restaurant. After the delicious Dim Sum lunch, our chef will teach you the basics of Dim Sum cooking. And you can even try your own Dim Sum afterwards!

Tour ends in Tsimshatsui, you may want to do some shopping here or go back to residing hotels at your own pace.
