Gold Fish and Flower Markets:
In the early morning at about 6 am, the guide will meet you at the lobby and take the taxi to “morning gold fish market”. This unique market is set up and operating right before the dawn, gold fish lovers need to bring their own torches along to take some good looks at the target. Usually items here about 40-50% off the prices compare to the normal shops. Not long after the sun comes up, the markets disappear completely.

After that we proceed to another market nearby – Flower market. Hong Kong’s flower market is the hub of the wholesale and retail flower business in Hong Kong, besides the beautiful, colorful blossoms; there are also many fortune-bringing houseplants.

Tai Chi Class:

At about 7:30am, we take MTR to Tsimshatsui promenade or Harcourt Garden at Admiralty for a formal Tai Chi class. After the moderate level exercise, you should feel energy- recharged and be ready to move on. We cross the harbour to Wanchai on Star Ferry. It’s about the right time to meet the rushing-to-work crowd, an interesting scene to see well dressed-up ladies in high heels all running and jumping to their offices.

Tai chi is a Chinese martial art that is primarily practiced for its health benefits, including a means for dealing with tension and stress. Tai chi emphasizes complete relaxation, and is essentially a form of meditation, or what has been called "meditation in motion." It is characterized by soft, slow, flowing movements that emphasize force, rather to be cont’d …than brute strength. Though it is soft, slow, and flowing, the movements are executed precisely.

Local breakfast and Milk Tea:

Breakfast time! Let’s try something very different to your usual buffet breakfast at the hotel. Having a cup of renowned Hong Kong style “milk tea” is a must.

Fresh Food Market:

Walking through the fresh food market, you will be amazed by the freshness of the meat, seafood, vegetables, etc. You may only pick up frozen food from supermarkets once a week; local housewives here go to markets twice a day!

Tour ends in Wan Chai, you may carry on to explore other parts of Hong Kong Island on the convenient Tramway on your own pace.
